Featured Artist

Shauna Furois, Flutist
Shauna is the principal flutist of Silverthorn Symphonic Winds and has been playing with the ensemble for nearly a decade. She studied under Barbara Ackerman at York University, where she earned her undergraduate degree in music.
By day, Shauna is a corporate and post-secondary school workshop leader, team builder, and keynote speaker. Her work focuses on bringing people together to enhance communication, foster teamwork, and encourage personal growth.
Shauna believes in the power of collaboration, and her experience as a musician has only deepened her appreciation for how individuals can unite to create meaningful art.
